Please check with staff for program times. Ranger talks are 30 minutes and require limited walking. Ranger walks (Battlefield Walks) are 60 minutes and require walking for a prolonged period.
Beginning on June 1
MUSKET DEMONSTRATIONS (30 Minutes) 11:30 am and 1:00 pm.
Held on the first and third Saturday of the month. Talk with a living historian dressed in 18th century clothing and watch them fire a musket! Program is offered behind the Visitor Center when weather and staffing permits.
In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, Park Rangers will offer a 60-minute walk called Muster in for Mental Health! At each stop on the program, a Park Ranger will highlight ways the hardship of war affected the physical and mental health of soldiers in the American Revolutionary War. In the process, rangers will share ways visitors of national parks may care for their health and well-being by spending time outdoors. This program will be presented every Saturday for the month of May at 2:30 pm, weather permitting. Please meet at the benches located directly behind the visitor center.
