Tours, kayak outfitters, fishing charters & water taxis
The following businesses and organizations are authorized to provide visitor services at Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Apostle Islands National Lakeshore does not manage or endorse any of these services. Inquiries should be directed to the respective business offering the service in question.
Lake Superior is renowned for its cold temperatures, rough seas, fog, and sudden squalls. Some trips may not occur or may be delayed by weather. Kayak trips and boat tours may be delayed or postponed, and water taxis may need to reschedule pickups. We do not recommend any travel on Lake Superior during Small Craft Advisories or Gale Warnings. As you prepare for your trip, it never hurts to plan for an unexpected weather delay, monitor weather forecasts, and be alert to changing conditions.
