Cumberland Island is a great place to explore with your students. The various ecosystems and vast history fit well into many educational standards. If a ranger program is not available, or the teacher prefers to lead their class on their own, we have some resources that can help you. Take time to check out the resources on this page and on the Field Trip Logistics page. If it your first time to the island with a group, we encourage you to call the park and speak with our education technician (Robin Barker) about your plan. He can be reached at (912) 882 4336 ext. 254. Cumberland Habitat GuideThis guide contains activities and suggestions for teachers who want to lead their own trip to the island. |
