Fish

Some of Lowell's fish population is here year round, and some trek all the way from the Atlantic Ocean. They pass through Lowell on their way to freshwater spawning grounds in New Hampshire. Each species has left important historical and ecological impacts on the region.

While there are many types of fish found throughout Lowell's water, these fish best represent the migratory, sedentary and endangered populations found here.
