Are you an avid birdwatcher? Come on out to Moores Creek! The park is on the North Carolina Birding Trail, which is comprised of prime spots for birding of connecting with nature. The park is comprised of several habitats ranging from wet pine savanna to creek to dry uplands. This range of habitat brings a diversity of birds and wildlife to the park.
