Jane C. Folger, a retired bank officer, was traveling on Flight 93 with her sister-in-law and friend, Patricia Cushing, on a long-anticipated sightseeing trip to San Francisco.The two women lived just blocks from each other in Bayonne, New Jersey and often took day trips together. Strong and resilient, Folger raised six children, then lost a son in the Vietnam War and another son to AIDS, and experienced a painful divorce. As a lifelong resident of Bayonne, Jane knew and loved New York City and, since retiring, traveled there weekly, introducing her six grandchildren to her favorite stores, theaters, museums, and cultural events.
