The At-Risk Species Program includes staff from the park, regional, and national levels of the National Park Service (NPS). The Program, together with partners, seeks to conserve, protect, and restore at-risk species and their habitat in the NPS. We lead, coordinate, and collaborate on actions to sustain biodiversity and ecological systems that align with the NPS mission. Through those efforts, the Program improves at-risk species conservation, preserves park resources, and enhances the experience of park visitors.
