Contact: Natalie Barber, 270-358-3137 The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park will be celebrating National Junior Ranger Day by conducting events throughout the day of Saturday, April 22. During park hours children can pick up a Junior Ranger Booklet at the park's Visitor Center. Upon completion of the booklet children can return it to the park's Visitor Center where they will receive a certificate and Junior Ranger Badge and be sworn in as an official Junior Ranger of Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park.The park will also be conducting educational programs throughout the day. The programs and times are: 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. - Frontier Pottery - Make your own frontier pottery at the clay table. 12:00 noon - 1:30 P.M. - Kentucky Down Under of Horse Cave, Kentucky will present an educational animal program. All programs are Free and open to the public. All times are Eastern Daylight Savings Time.
