The National Park Service (NPS) will hold a press conference on July 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. to discuss trail completion at Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site, Flight 93 National Memorial and Johnstown Flood National Memorial. Representatives from the NPS and 911 National Memorial Trail are speaking:
  • Stephen M. Clark, Superintendent, National Parks of Western Pennsylvania.
  • Doug Bosley, Chief of Interpretation, Allegheny Portage Railroad National Historic Site and Johnstown Flood National Memorial.
  • Jeffery McCauley, President, 911 National Memorial Trail.
  • David Brickley, Founder and President Emeritus, 911 National Memorial Trail.
The press conference location is at the back of the Flight 93 National Memorial visitor center and is open to the public.
