NPS Saturday, October 26, 2024Spirits of the Staple Bend Tunnel tours are family friendly. Reservations are required due to limited space on the bus! Please call 814-886-6150 to sign up for this free tour! Tour times are 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. A short bus ride takes participants to the tunnel where they will visit different stations and meet characters from the days of the Allegheny Portage Railroad. The takes participants through the Staple Bend Tunnel, which is 901 feet long. Luminaries will help light the way! More information on the Staple Bend Tunnel can be found here. |
