Notes: On November 16, 1776, church burial was provided for a little girl called Eufrasia María who was killed by the enemies in an asault they made today on this village. She was the legitimate daughter of Manuel Rubio Mesa and María Josepha (illegible). She was buried in the cemetery of this village of Santa María Magdalena, for which truth I sign. Fr. Pedro Font Note that on this day, November 16, 1776, at eight o'clock in the morning, the Pima and Seri enemies fell upon this village of Santa maría Magdalena. They killed the girl in the preceding entry. They left her mother, María Josepha, who was pregnant and near the time of giving birth, very badly wounded. She died in San Ignacio at three in the morning on the following day and was buried there. They stole the sacred ornaments. They desecrated the church and the sacred images. They ransacked the village, carrying away what they could. And, finally, they set fire to the (illegible) and the Padre's house, leaving the village destroyed, for which truth I sign. Fr. Pedro Font
