Oscar D. Kelton, 1st LT Company A, 95th Ohio Infantry, USA Oscar was the first man to enlist in Company A of the 95th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He fought throughout the Vicksburg Campaign and was later killed in action along Tishomingo Creek at the Battle of Brices Cross Roads.
John Milton Hubbard, Company E, 7th Tennessee Cavlary, CSA Hubbard joined the confederate army in 1861 and fought with Company E until the end of the war when he was paroled in May 1865. He died on April 2, 1923 at the age of 90 and he is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee. |
