Contact: Casey Johannsen, 870-449-4311 The Rush Campground will have drinking water available this year and camping fees will be collected. The water system at Rush was turned off last fall for repairs. The repair has been made and water will be available, according to the regular campground schedule, March 15 through November 15. The fee to camp at Rush is $12 a night per site. In addition to drinking water there is a vault restroom in the campground and a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hook at each site. Rush Campground is only open to tent campers, recreational vehicles are not permitted. Rush is also the last place to get fresh water before floating through the 25-mile Lower Wilderness Area. Please call the Buffalo Point Ranger Station at 870-449-4311 for further information. |
