South Woolum Road Closed, Alternate Route Available

Heavy erosion has made traveling the South Woolum Road unsafe.

In the interest of public safety, the South Woolum Road (SC 14) has been closed. The road is currently unsafe for vehicular traffic due to erosion. The National Park Service, in coordination with Searcy County, will work to reopen the road as soon as possible

The Woolum launch and campground remain open during this road closure. To access this area, please travel via the North Woolum Road (SC15). This road can be accessed via Highway 65 near Pindall.
