Rockin' the Arts at Chiricahua

Paticipant Details:
  • Who: All amateur and professional artists
    • Open to all - non-juried
  • What: Paint or draw in the park wilderness
  • Where: All areas open to visitors
  • When: Anytime 9/13-9/15/2024
    • Check-in at visitor center on arrival 8:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
    • No pre-registration required
Chiricahua National Monument preserves and protects amazing rock formations, flora, and fauna so all participants must Leave No Trace.

Please respect our wilderness by observing these guidelines:
  • No materials or surfaces within the park may be used or damaged
  • Bring a drop cloth & clean up kit
  • Do not dump or drop paint water, oil, turpentine, or other liquids
  • Do not block walking, driving, or parking areas
  • Do not set up on balenced rocks or dangerous cliffs and minimize impacts to plants and flora
  • Set up within 6 feet of trail so observers will not harm surrounding area
  • Artists may display a web adddress and give business cards on request
  • No sales, solicitation, brochures, or catalogs are allowed in the park
No public showing of final works will take place at the park, but we will encourage artists to utilize social media to share your work with us and the public.
