The Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site, in partnership with Say it Loud! Readers and Writers, invites the public to two events in the Freedom and Heritage Literacy Series in September 2024.

The ongoing series will explore how education fosters social literacy, cultural understanding, and impactful communication. By embracing diverse voices, the program aims to expand perspectives and create opportunities for exploration and growth. This is a chance to engage with history, learn from past movements, and empower the next generation to continue the fight for social justice.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with the scheduled presenters.

All events are free and open to the public; more events will be announced for October – December 2024 at a later date.
