Quantrill, William C.
- Bio:
- Famous Confederate guerilla leader; fought at Wilson's Creek; finally commissioned as a colonel. He led his company in a brutal raid of Lawrence and later in the Battle of Baxter Springs. Died of wounds received in Kentucky in 1865.
