Manually Importing a Replication Packet

When performing an On-Demand replication, it is possible to create a replication packet without immediately applying it on the target server. From the Replication Records dialog, click the go icon for a selected record and check Manual Transport in the On-demand Replication Process dialog before starting the replication. Once complete, the data packet is saved in the commonspot/sync/packets_received directory.

To import this packet on the target server, copy the packet to the commonspot/sync/packets_received directory on the target server. Once copied, expand the Replication section of the Site Administration dashboard on the target, select Manual Transport, and optionally import all available or selected packets.
