Sending your application to SHPO

Where should the application be sent?

Answer
Two copies of the application must be submitted to the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) first.

The SHPO retains one copy of the application and forwards the original, signed application to the NPS.

Simultaneous submissions of applications to the SHPO and the NPS or applications sent to the NPS only are not accepted.
