On-site and off-site work continues as planned this week. Current off-site work at two different facilities includes casting concrete abutment blocks and fabricating the structural bridge elements from steel. The abutment blocks will be transported to the construction site later this summer for installation next year. An exciting next step in the steel fabrication process will include an off-site trial assembly of the first half of the bridge—so stay tuned to this blog for more!
