Interested in Becoming a B.A.R.K. Ranger?

All well-behaved pets are welcome at Eisenhower National Historic Site. If you and your furry friend are interested in becoming a B.A.R.K. Ranger, you can follow the steps below. Its easy!

Step 1

When visiting Eisenhower National Historic Site, ask a Park Ranger or volunteer for a copy of our B.A.R.K. Ranger activity booklet. Complete the activities while exploring the site, and follow these B.A.R.K. Ranger principles.

Activity booklets are also available at Eisenhower NHS Park Headquarters on days that the Eisenhower Home is closed.

A-Always Wear a Leash
R-Respect Wildlife
K-Know Where You Can Go

Step 2

Once you've completed the activities in the B.A.R.K. Ranger booklet, and have demonstrated the principles of a good B.A.R.K. Ranger, take the official pledge.

Step 3

Recieve your B.A.R.K. Ranger badge!

Step 4

Put your official title to good use, and help our Park Rangers keep Eisenhower National Historic Site a safe and clean resource, unimpaired for future generations!
