Visitor Center Museum: The visitor center museum is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily. Inside the museum you can obtain the park brochure, Jr Ranger Books, passport stamps, and a ranger can answer any questions you may have. The musuem illustrates the over 400 years of history at the Fort Frederica townsite with artifacts, images, and information. There is a kids area with activites in the recreation of the Bennett Taven room inside the museum.

Movie Theater: Inside the visitor center museum is the theater. The theater plays the twenty minute park film every half hour from 9:00am to 4:30pm. The park film is subtitled. The theater can accomendate up to eighty-four visitors.

 

Gift shop inside the park's visitor center

Gift Shop: The gift shop is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily. The store offers various Fort Frederica memorabilia, including ornaments, magents, t-shirts, and more! There are various seasonal offerings and locally made honey, candles, artwork, and pottery for purchase. The park store is run by the Fort Frederica Assocation and all procedes go back to the park for future programing.

Special Programs: On occasions there will be special ranger programs available inside the visitor center. These programs will cover various topics and times will vary. Please check our calender page or call our visitor center to find out when these programs are running.
