Western Folksinger Hank Cramer to Perform at Fort Laramie NHS

(Fort Laramie, WY) Hank Cramer, one of America’s best-loved folksingers will present two concerts at Fort Laramie National Historic Site on Saturday and Sunday, July 18-19, 2020. His first performance will be at 6:00 pm on Saturday followed by two performances at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm on Sunday.  

Hank is widely known for his wry sense of humor, booming bass voice, and smooth picking on a vintage flat-top guitar, His repertoire covers over a thousand modern and traditional songs, spanning the genres of Celtic, Appalachian, maritime, cowboy, and good old folk music. Hank is an educator who weaves music and history into the performance. These anecdotes bring the rich story of America’s westward movement to life. As an historian, Hank is drawn to historic venues where he can perform in educational settings, which allow him to combine his love of music and history.

Bring the family and join us for Hank’s two concerts at Fort Laramie National Historic Site, which will feature songs that were popular along emigrants, homesteaders, miners, and soldiers of the 19^th century.
