Fort Pulaski National Monument Will Close on September 25, 2024, to Prepare for Storm Threat

SAVANNAH, GA - As Tropical Storm Helene approaches the coast, Fort Pulaski National Monument will close on Wednesday September 25, 2024, to finish safety and property preparations. The park Entrance Station and Fort Pulaski will close at 11:30 AM, and park grounds will close at 12:00 PM.

Fort Pulaski National Monument will re-open once damage assessments have been made and the park is deemed safe for visitation. Re-opening updates will be shared via our park website and via park social media accounts.

Fort Pulaski National Monument is located on U.S. Highway 80, 15 miles east of Savannah.
