We want to help you reach your park!

In the summer of 2024, our partners at the Brandywine Conservancy are collaborating with Uber and Lyft to provide free rides to First State National Historical Park for our local communities who may have faced barriers in getting here in the past. Your free, roundtrip ride awaits!

Learn more about how the NPS is collaborating with the US Department of Transportation and non-profit partners in 2024 to pilot this partnership with Uber and Lyft to offer free rides as a transportation option to connect historically underserved communities with their local national parks.

Use these instructions to access a free Uber or Lyft ride to First State National Historical Park. These free rides are available to use until November 25, 2024.

How to Use an Uber Free Ride Voucher

1. To apply the Uber free ride voucher, in the Uber app, tap “Account” on the bottom righthand corner. Tap “Wallet” in the upper center of the screen. Scroll down and tap “Add voucher code” and enter the Uber voucher code rtboHYgoh16
2. To request a ride, on the home page of the Uber app, type in the address to First State National Historical Park: 50 Creek Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803
   1. Select your ride.
   2. In the payments option section, select the free ride voucher that you applied.
   3. Wait at the pick-up point for your ride to pick you up.
3. To return home, repeat step 2, entering your home address as the destination.

How to Use a Lyft Free Ride Code

1. To apply the Lyft free ride code, in the Lyft app, tap the “Menu” icon in the upper lefthand corner. Tap “Rewards” and enter the Lyft code FIRSTSTATE2024
2. To request a ride, on the home page of the Lyft app, type in the address to First State National Historical Park: 50 Creek Rd, Wilmington, DE 19803
   1. Select your ride.
   2. The Lyft free ride code that you applied to your account will be automatically applied to this ride.
   3. Wait at the pick-up point for your ride to pick you up.
3. To return home, repeat step 2, entering your home address as the destination.

Please allow approximately 15 minutes for pick-up due to occasionally limited driver availability.

   1. Elige el tipo de viaje.
