Queens, N.Y. --Solitude, an exhibit of photographs by Agron Jashari, will open on Sunday, March 31. There will be an opening reception from 2 pm. – 4 p.m. at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Broad Channel.  This exhibit will be on display for two months.

Jashari, who will be at the reception, was born in Kosovo and educated as a civil engineer at Pristina University. Seeking the beauty of isolation, he captures moments of solitude in the New York City metropolis. His images invite the viewer to scrutinize and become a participant.

As a photographer, Jashari has spent much time waiting to capture the perfect shot since finding moments of solitude in New York City is not easily encountered. The breadth and scope of his images from cityscape, to water and sky provide a panorama of the NYC metropolitan area. This is Jashari’s first solo exhibit.
