Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is in a very remote location. Limited food, lodging, and services are available near the monument. There are no campgrounds, lodging or restaurants within the national monument boundaries. However, there are a few options within a short distance and many available options in the nearby communities. Camping Although there is no camping within the monument, there are several campgrounds in the Gila National Forest and in the Gila Hot Springs community. PicnickingWith no restaurants or other food options available within a short distance of the monument, bringing a picnic can be a nice way to enjoy your visit to the park. There are several options for picnicking nearby.FoodA small selection of snacks can be purchased at the Western National Parks Association Park Store at the trailhead. Some food, drink, and grocery items can be in found in Gila Hot Springs, about 5 miles away, at Doc Campbell's Trading Post. Doc Campbell's also offers gasoline, camping supplies, basic necessities, and souvenir items. Call (575) 536-9551 for hours; they are very limited. LodgingAccommodations are not available in the park but may be found nearby. The community of Gila Hot Springs, about 5 miles away from the park, has a few options including an RV Park, private campground and lodges.
