ESRI Education Solutions
Beginning January 2000, organizations of all sizes can get GIS education and
training for their entire staff through annual subscriptions to ESRI Virtual
Campus. Subscriptions offer access to ESRI Virtual Campus courses to everyone in
an organization for a flat annual fee. The campus offers self-paced courses via
the World Wide Web on geographic information science, GIS applications, and GIS
technology, including courses on ArcInfo 8. The campus also houses a
professional GIS community whose members share ideas and expertise in a

The National Remote Sensing and Space Law Center at the University of Mississippi was established in 2000. The Center
serves the remote sensing industry and the public good by objectively researching, addressing and conducting activities related
to the legal aspects of applying remote sensing and related technologies to human activities. Subjects the Center addresses
include, among others, data policies, intellectual property, privacy, liability, international law, use of imagery as legal evidence,
