GULF BREEZE, Fla. -- Gulf Islands National Seashore will winterize facilities beginning Jan 6 for incoming cold weather.
In the Florida District, the Okaloosa and Opal Beach Areas restrooms will be closed until at least Friday, January 10
The only restrooms open to the public in each area are below.
Open
Fort Pickens Area – Fort Pickens Fishing Pier restroom (green and white building), campground registration (white building on Fort Pickens Road).
Naval Live Oaks Area– South pavilion by headquarters
Perdido Key Area – West restroom closest to the flagpole
The park will review the weather and facilities daily for updates. For more information, please follow the park’s social media accounts and website.
