Alexandria, Va. – The National Park Service has completed the final Recreation and Visitor Services Plan for Jones Point Park. The plan, developed with input from the public, will guide the development of recreational activities at Jones Point Park. The plan considers existing conditions and opportunities at the Park, and develops a set of recommendations for a variety of ways visitors can experience the Park.

“Public involvement was a key element of our plan to enhance the visitor experience at Jones Point Park,” said George Washington Memorial Parkway Superintendent Alexcy Romero. “The community outreach process enabled us to better understand the need for flexible court space, fields, and recreational activities at the park.”

The final plan is available on the Planning, Environment, and Public Comment website: https://parkplanning.nps.gov/finaljpprecplan.
