Where to Eat, Sleep, and Shop in Harpers Ferry

It can be difficult to tell where the national park ends and the modern town of Harpers Ferry begins. Around Lower Town, you'll find exhibits and museums within the park's boundaries. A few steps away are restaurants, shops, and B&B's in the town of Harpers Ferry.

All eating, lodging, and shopping establishments can be found just outside the park's boundaries in the neighboring towns of Harpers Ferry and Bolivar. For information about restaurants, lodging, camping, outdoor recreation, and other amenities, visit the Harpers Ferry - Bolivar Tourism Association website or the Jefferson County Convention & Visitors Bureau website.

Can I camp in Harpers Ferry NHP?

There is no camping within Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Private campgrounds can be found nearby, outside the park's boundary. Other national parks within driving distance may have camping opportunities:

• Chesapeake & Ohio National Historical Park
• Catoctin Mountain Park
• Shenandoah National Park
