Expect Traffic Delays at Haleakalā National Park During Cycle to the Sun Event

The Summit District of Haleakalā National Park is hosting the annual Cycle to the Sun event on June 22, 2024 from 8:00 am – 1:30 pm. Puʻu ʻUlaʻula (10,023 feet) will be closed to traffic however access will be available by shuttle service to visitors. During this time, expect slower traffic and watch out for cyclists on the road.
