Getting Married at the Park

A Special Use Permit is required for weddings and vow renewals. Before applying, please email the Special Use Permit office to inquire about availability. Weddings may be scheduled up to one year in advance.

*Please note: we do not allow many things traditional weddings usually request: flowers, amplified sounds, balloons, signs, etc. at any location.

The approved wedding sites are:

• Arlington Lawn (center area) – maximum of 200 participants*
• Whittington Park – maximum of 200 participants
• Hot Springs Mountain Pagoda – maximum of 20 participants, up to 1-hour total time*
• West Mountain Overlook – maximum of 20 participants, no tables, chairs or food and 30 minutes total time*

*parking is limited, shuttling of guests may be required

Please review the "Wedding Guidelines" and "Cost Recovery Charges" below before submitting a wedding permit application. You will need to download the application, fill it out, and return it to the park by mail or email at [e-mail].
