Join staff and the creative Chellberg Farm cooks to learn how to preserve and can the “vegetable garden’s bounty” at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore on Sunday, August 6 and Sunday, August 27. On August 6, pickles will be canned from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and jam will be made and preserved from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. On August 27, pickles will be canned from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and tomatoes will be canned from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Be sure to bring the kids at 4:00 pm to help feed the farm animals at Chellberg Farm. |
