INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a ranger on Sunday, November 5, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, for stories about shipwrecks of the Great Lakes. Learn what makes the storms in November so treacherous and the Great Lakes so deadly. Lake Michigan alone has approximately 6,000 shipwrecks resting in its depths including several near the Indiana Dunes.

The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is located at 1215 North State Road 49, about one mile north of Interstate 94 and just south of highway 20. For more information on this and other programs at Indiana Dunes National Park, call 219-395-1882, visit our website, download the official National Park Service app, or view our Facebook page.
