INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE:Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and the entire National Park Service are back open. Fall colors should reach their peak in the next two weeks making it a great time to take a leisurely stroll along any of the national lakeshore’s 45 miles of trail or bike along the recently opened Porter Brickyard Bike Trail. Stop by the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center between8:30 am and 4:30 pmto talk with a ranger and plan out your visit to the dunes.
