Hypertragulid Coloring Page
Hypertragulid, or mouse deer, is the most common fossil within the Turtle Cove Member of the John Day Formation. They were small herbivores that browsed on understory vegetation like shrubs or bushes. Relatives of mouse deer still live today but they are no longer found in North America.
