Park Store

Two teal buildings with white doors and framing and a darker, shingled roof.
The Bookstore located in the Americans of Japanese Ancestry Social Hall.

The Kalaupapa National Historical Park store is operated by Pacific Historic Parks (PHP), an official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to supporting the education, interpretive programs, research, preservation, and restoration work that perpetuates the memory of events and honors the people of historic Kalaupapa. The park store has a wide range of books, posters, collectibles and other items available for retail sale. These products complement the interpretive themes you experience when visiting the park. The bookstore is located at the American of Japanese Ancestry (AJA) Buddhist Hall, which is one of the stops along the commercial tour. Normally, the bookstore has limited operating hours on Monday through Saturday and is closed Sundays. The store is currently closed until further notice, due to pandemic related restrictions. Instead, Kalaupapa books and gifts are available through this online store.
