A special event, such as a wedding, must not negatively impact other visitor uses and does not allow for exclusive use of an area. Catered food preparation and business transactions must take place outside of the park. LocationsThe following locations may allow for weddings if approved by park management. With the exception of group sites, the maximum number of participants and guests for wedding ceremonies is 30.
Cost RecoveryIf an event requires the park’s maintenance and law enforcement staff to provide appropriate care for resources and/or visitors, the permittee will be responsible for costs incurred. There will be a charge of $45 per hour for each law enforcement ranger and $30 per hour for each maintenance employee. If costs are incurred, the permittee will be sent a bill for collection after the wedding to be paid by check or money order.Ceremony and Celebration InformationAn approved, signed copy of the permit must be in your possession before the ceremony.The ceremony and parking lot areas must be left in the same condition as prior to the event. All decorations, litter, vehicles, equipment, etc. will be removed by the permittee immediately after the completion of the wedding. Professional photographers or videographers used during the ceremony do not need an additional permit. Music accompanying the event is limited to unamplified musical instruments. Gazebos are only available on a first come, first served basis. They cannot be reserved. The following are not permitted:
