What: Solar Cars, Food Trucks, Historical Re-enactors, American Indian Games, Bridge Beats Live Bands, National Park Service When: Friday July 13th, 3:00 - 7:00 p.m & Saturday July 14th, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Where: Lewis and Clark Landing near the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge Why: The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Headquarters and Visitor Center is hosting the launch of the 2018 American Solar Challenge. Come join us Friday afternoon, July 13th at Display day to see the solar cars and meet the teams that design, develop, and drive them. There will also be games, historical re-enactors, food trucks, and live bands with Bridge Beats to celebrate the launch. Then, the next morning at 8 a.m., join us at the starting line as we launch the solar cars on their 1,700 miles cross country rally following the Oregon National Historic Trail.
