Lincoln Home National Historic Site Hosts: Art in the Park- Around the Town Concert with Illinois Symphony Orchestra

Listen Live to a Brass Quintet at a free “Around the Town” concert at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024, during “Art in the Park” at Lincoln Home National Historic Site. “Art in the Park” is part of National Park Week, which runs April 20 through 28, 2024.

Let's celebrate National Park Week with LIVE music from the Illinois Symphony Orchestra! Around the Town Chamber Concert series is a free, unique, engaging chamber music experience that allows the audience a chance to get to know the Illinois Symphony Orchestra musicians in an intimate setting. The series offers audiences of all ages an opportunity to experience a diverse repertoire of music in a variety of settings.

The performance runs approximately one hour. No ticket required; admission is free. Some seating is available, but bringing your own lawn chair is encouraged. The Visitor Center of the Lincoln Home National Historic Site is located at 426 S. 7th Street in Springfield. This event will take place just outside the Visitor Center along Jackson Street. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the Lincoln Home Visitor Center.
