First Manassas Trail Bridge Re-open

MANASSAS, VA — The pedestrian bridge over Young’s Branch is now re-open after necessary repairs were completed. The 1st Manassas loop trail that crosses Young's Branch at that location can now be accessed at that location. Alternative routes are no longer needed to use the 1st Manassas Trail. 

Manassas National Battlefield Park is one of 423 national parks cared for by the National Park Service. The 5,200-acre park preserves, protects and interprets the nationally significant history of the battles of First Manassas and Second Manassas, in addition to topics of natural heritage, the Civil War, and African American history.
