Description

This is a VHS recording produced on July 10, 1990. It introduces the history of Pipe Spring National Monument. The narrator discusses how Pipe Spring became the monument that it now is. Among other things, the narrator discusses the Arizona Strip, The Paiute People, European and Mormon Settlers, and the eventual fort and it's uses. It does not provide a balanced view of the history like we strive for today, but it does exemplify the stories told here in that time period.
