The Secret Service Office, a one-story, pale green cinder block structure sits at the north end of the Eisenhower bank barn. Two windows flank a screen door in the center of the building.

Moving through the door, glass walls ahead and to the right sides enclose the entrance hallway. Yellowed vinyl tiles cover the floors.

Under a window at the back right, a rolling chair sits beside A small desk with a coffee pot and a small radio. A black & white photo of Ike and Mamie hangs beside three calendars dated June, July, and August 1967. 

On a metal desk at the front of the room, a radio transmitter and several rotary telephones sit below closed-circuit TV equipment. Other items on the desktop include a clipboard, a pair of binoculars, black sunglasses, and a square glass ashtray.

In a small kitchen area on the other side of the office is a tall, grey water cooler, an electric coffee urn, and an air conditioner in the side window. A handwritten sign reads:  "Please wash cups and put away."

Description

U.S. Secret Service agents accompanied President Eisenhower during and after his presidency. This cinder block structure on the north end of the Eisenhower bank barn was originally used as a milk house until the U.S. Secret Service adapted it to be an office. This 3D tour allows you to explore the office where the agents on his protection detail were stationed.
