Oral history refers to the study of personal accounts of events conducted through interviews. It can be presented in audio, print, or video. The stories of our past are best told by those who experienced them firsthand. Oral histories are a vital resource in learning about New Bedford’s history, and provide a unique perspective on the important events of our past.
