NPS photo. What are Passport Stamps?Passport stamps are a fun way to remember your visit to New Philadelphia National Historic Site! Or any National Park site!America’s National Parks started the program in 1986. It allows visitors to "put a stamp on every national park experience." In addition, it helps visitors "Take only pictures, leave only footprints" by providing a souvenir to take home. Each national park site has at least one cancellation stamp. These stamps are circular with the name of the park and the date of your visit. The country is divided into nine regions, and each region is assigned a specific color. New Philadelphia NHS is in the Midwest Region (orange). You can collect stamps in your official Passport book. You can also create your own way to collect stamps! People like to stamp brochures, postcards, scrapbooks, journals, and more. Where are stamps available?Passport stamps are not available onsite at New Philadelphia National Historic Site. You can find them at the following locations.Barry City Hall (4 miles west)Barry City Hall is 4 miles west of New Philadelphia. Paved parking is available, but RV and trailer parking is not available.Barry City Hall has the following stamps:

Lincoln Home National Historic Site (77 miles east)Passport stamps are available at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site visitor center in Springfield, Illinois (77 miles east of the site). RV and trailer parking is available.Two stamps are available:
