Niobrara National Scenic River Visitor Center Transitions to Winter Hours

Valentine, NE – Fall is approaching, and the Niobrara National Scenic River Visitor Center will be returning to its off season hours. Saturday, September 7, will be the final day the visitor center is open on the weekend for the 2024 season. Starting September 8, the Niobrara National Scenic River Visitor Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. until Memorial Day weekend 2025.

The visitor center will also be closed on the following federal holidays in 2024: Columbus Day (October 14^th), Veterans Day (November 11^th), Thanksgiving Day (November 28^th), Christmas Day (December 25^th), and New Year’s Day (January 1^st, 2025).
