Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park will close to the public at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 26 in advance of Hurricane Helene.

The projected forecast and potential for heavy rain and high winds will likely create hazardous conditions throughout the park. The park will re-open once damage assessments have been made and the park is deemed safe for visitation. Updates will be shared via our park website and via park social media accounts.
