Paterson Great Falls NHP - Current Schedule

Throughout the summer season, park staff will be onsite and available from 9:00AM to 4:30PM Wednesday-Sunday. Portable toilets are available at the Overlook Park parking lot at our main address and are unlocked from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, staff permitting. The grounds are always available, but the best time to see the falls is between sunrise and sunset.

Beginning June 20, 2024, the National Park's main visitor parking lot at 72 McBride Avenue Extension will be closed every day sometime after dark, and reopened every morning between 7:45am and 8:45am.

Please Note:
There is currently no visitor center. We are without indoor facilities pending new visitor center construction. Portable toilets are available 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM staff permitting. National Park Passport stamps are available at the administrative office at our main address.
