Both days will feature living history demonstrations and programs, as well as ranger-led tours, at the site of the battle, located at Tour Stop 8 on the park’s Eastern Front Tour Road. These programs will run from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday and 10:30 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday. The park’s education trailer, with fun activities for kids of all ages, will also be at the tour stop during those times. Additionally, on Saturday from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, there will be civilian living history displays and an interactive map program of the Battle of the Crater running throughout the day at the Eastern Front Visitor Center. The Eastern Front unit of the park can be accessed at the Eastern Front Visitor Center, 5001 Siege Road, Petersburg, Virginia.
